A few words about our Company
Grupa Polska Stal S.A. was established in 1999
at the initiative of a group of large private companies which had
for many years been distributing metallurgic products on the Polish
market.
Grupa Polska Stal is a trading group which aims at obtaining
the best possible market conditions for its members and customers,
trading within the field of metallurgy.
Our large and ever-increasing trading capacity, covering the full
range of metallurgic products as well as our sound and reliable financial
reputation on the Polish market enable us to cooperate closely with
the leading manufacturers and suppliers of metallurgic goods.
The sale of our products amounts to more than 300 thousand tons per
year with a value of over 150 million EURO. This places our company
among the leading steel distributors in Poland and also among the
biggest companies. The Polish quality newspapers POLITYKA and
RZECZPOSPOLITA ranked us high among the
500 biggest Polish companies.
Our company's Quality Management procedures are TUV certified
in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard for trading in metallurgic
products.
The Grupa Polska Stal currently comprises 11 Companies which have
47 cooperating warehouses of metallurgic materials and service centres
units throughout Poland (see Stockholders).
They offer a full variety of high quality metallurgic commodities
at the most competitive prices.
We are constantly expanding and always welcome new financially sound
steel distributors to join our group.
